TURNING MONEY INTO MINISTRY

What is the tithe?

In the Bible, we are taught that God is the source of all things. When we receive income, the first step should be to set aside a portion to support God’s work through the local church. The tithe, which means a tenth, is an act of obedience, putting God first in our lives.

Why do we tithe?

Jesus also challenged us to go beyond just tithing and to be generous in our giving. Applying this principle regularly keeps our hearts focused on what matters most.

What is the Heart for the House Offering?

The Heart for the House offering is a chance for everyone at The House to pray and seek God’s guidance on what He wants them to give, going above and beyond their regular tithe and offerings. This yearly sacrificial offering creates opportunities for more people to know the Father, accept forgiveness, live free, and fuel their purpose.

What is the Legacy Project: Sow for Them

This is a pledge-based gift, where individuals commit to giving a specific amount. There are 1,000 boxes, each representing $500, that can be claimed as part of your giving. These funds will go toward accelerating campus expansion, developing leadership, supporting the next generation, and reducing debt.

How can I be involved?

There are multiple ways you can step into giving:

  1. Set up regular and recurring giving via debit, credit card, or ACH Transfer on the app or website.

  2. Pray and participate in Heart for the House that occurs every December.

  3. Fill out a pledge and give above and beyond throughout the year to complete commitment.

  4. Consider alternate avenues of gifts: stocks, corporate giving, wills, property, etc.
